MAX IMANA (JAMAICA/AUSTRALIA)

Energy Healer, Body Worker, Qi Gong Practitioner. Specializing in Men’s Health, Empowerment & Leadership.

I am an Energy Healer/Body Shaman & Qi Gong Practitioner, who has practiced Remedial Massage, muscle balancing, injury prevention and recovery for over 6 years. Using massage, movement, meditation, alternative healing modalities and energy medicine; I offer my clients mental, physical, energetic healing and Empowerment. Teaching people how to improve awareness, strength and mobility in their bodies to enable them to be more grounded and present in their lives. Also specializing is men's health, healing and initiation.

I was born in Jamaica where I had a very happy and fulfilling childhood, before moving to Australia with my family at 11 years old. I always knew it was my calling to be of service to the people in health and spirituality but unfortunately, I lost sight of myself during this period where I experienced traumatic family breakdown and disconnect. I developed a deep lack of selflove and acceptance.

By the time I finished high school I was lost in world of drugs and partying, not really knowing who I was or how to express myself fully. My drug and alcohol abuse spiralled out of control by my early 20's. At the age of 25 in a deep state of depression, I finally had the epiphany needed to turn my life around. I began my personal transformation journey with competitive boxing, while studying massage and enrolling in workshops and courses to heal myself mentally, physically and energetically. This lead to many awakenings to self and the realignment of my passion for healing and being of service to the people.

She received her MSW from Boston College School of Social Work where she is completing her PhD and will begin teaching Diversity & Cross-Cultural Issues in the fall. NEHANDA YEMAYA (ZIMBABWE)

Speaker, Actress/ Performing Artist, Energy Healing Practitioner, Spiritual Teacher specialising in Womens Health, Empowerment , Activism and Leadership.

I am a Speaker, Actress/ Performing Artist, Energy Healer - Shaman and Spiritual, Teacher that founded a movement and brand called OSHUN LILITH that provides healing services, products, ancient wisdom and teachings that support women to reclaim their inner power, heal and transform their lives so they can be better leaders, visionaries, revolutionaries and active members of society.

I was inspired to create this business from my own healing journey as an African women and creative who was deeply traumatised since childhood from sexual trauma abuse and being heavily suppressed in my feminine expression and voice from growing up in a patriarchal society. I had an eventual mental and physical breakdown, suffering from severe depression, regular suicidal thoughts, drug addiction, obesity. My life was chaotic and I had nearly given up on myself until I had a radical realisation I was not going to be a victim anymore and that I was creating my own pain and suffering by not healing and learning to love and honour myself as a human being.

On my healing journey I discovered alternative healing modalities that African ancestors and other indigenous people such as the Australian Aboriginals used to heal in ancient times of crisis. Which was congruent with how I managed to heal myself and change my life from a traumatised and dissatisfied I.T professional to a passionate creative and leader in women’s wellness and healing. I believe in order to harness our true potential and inner power we must not put limits on ourselves , we must face our adversity and embark on a journey of self discovery and self love.
